Working for Felis Media for the TV show named Teknoloji Dergisi (Technology Magazine) on TRT Okul (School). The program is 20 minutes long and as it offers by its name it is related with technology. Different from other programs it doesn’t specially focus on hardcore technology, it focuses on every little bit of tech where you can find in real life. The show has 5 main sections. Bombardment for the answers of simple questions in Windows, Wake Up Service for real life tech usage, TestMest for reviewing new products related with technology, Weblife for reviewing and introducing websites and the fifth one is a little 5 question quiz with a little prize. I am the content manager and also the announcer of the show. You can follow the program on twitter as @tekdergi. Moreover you can watch the latest episodes on TeknolojiDergisi.tv (which is under construction nowadays L) Also I am responsible for TeknoTrend.tv which is the website of a TV show broadcasting on Show TV every sunday like Silikon Vadisi which I mentioned below on my resume. In fact we can say it is nearly the same show with a brand new name and brand new sponsor: the technology retail market giant Media Markt. Last but not least, I am the unofficial copywriter of Felis Media. Back2 media again with new functionalities J.

Responsible of building digital communication department at Caretta Public Relations Communication and Consultancy. Established in 2004 Caretta Communication and Consultancy differentiates its customers’ brands with its corporate and marketing communication solutions. Now heading for digital communication, I am now responsible of gathering a social media team and an approach to Caretta for generating new projects on social networks for its customers.
Social Media Specialist at Siyaset Meydani Social Media Project – Show TV

Working for “Siyaset Meydani” which is a current events debate television program broadcasting on Show TV. Siyaset Meydani is one of the most successful shows across the land and has a great impact on Turkish television history. Its format was designed to present and challenge the opinions of political sides. The show began airing on ATV in 1994 hosting by Ali Kirca. Till that day the show was aired on different channels like NTV, Star TV and now on Show TV. The unchallengeable TV show is changing shell with a new concept this season. It now has 24 constant guests to debate. The second and maybe the most recognizable improvement is that the show now opens its gates to the digital side with an innovative approach to social media with the team I was also involved. I was a member of Siyaset Meydani Social Media Team, responsible for coordinating rich media for social networks and monitoring activities for social networks.

Worked as continuity writer for Digital Broadcast Platform D-Smart, HP and Vodafone Turkey operations. Worked heavily for Vodafone Team for the best available launch of 3G network in Turkey. After Vodafone’s decision about taking the public relations in house, Zarakol and Vodafone have been parted. Following Vodafone, D-Smart had failed in a economic crisis and stopped its PR activities. I then head for social media department of Zarakol named Zarakol 2.0 Digital and began writing and editing for digital comm. team. At Zarakol Digital I was also responsible for reporting account activities on social media for several projects of different accounts of Zarakol (like Mey, Boyner and Bayraktar Holding).

Responsible for reviewing mobile handsets regarding hardware and software. Deeply interested with new mobile stuff and try to catch the best mobile devices for review. Contacting with companies to more and latest information about devices and the market. Shiftdelete.net does not have a dedicated mobile section before me. We work hard for to have one. We succeeded at launching mobile section. Short time after the launch, Avea, one of the three GSM operators in Turkey assigned an long term ad campaign.

Responsible for managing deadlines and scheduling, being the point person for interview contacts, proofreading, and coordinating the reviewing cell/smart/phone stuff. Writing cover stories related with popular handsets like Apple iPhone, Asus, HTC, Samsung, Nokia and etc. Regarding touchscreen, qwerty business and messaging models. Comparing mobile devices for to help readers to make a easier buying. Also responsible for being guest to popular news channel Haberturk TV shows for describing mobile and internet technology. PC Magazine Turkey operation was stopped due to heavy affect of global economic crisis on 09 Jan 09.
Host – Silikon Vadisi TV Show at Show TV
July 2004 – January 2008 (3 years 7 months)
Silikon Vadisi was a technology related entertainment TV show. It was broadcasted on Turkey’s most powerful channel, ‘Show TV’ for 3 years on every Sunday around 13:00. 114 episodes were broadcasted on Show TV. Vatan Computer was the sponsor of the show for 103 episodes. The company gained great brand awareness and sales activity with ‘Silikon Vadisi’. Later on Gold Computer and Tgar Technology were the sponsors of the last 20 episodes. The show was later transferred to channel TV8. I was presenting new technology stuff and explaining new technologies on the show. Over 70 episodes I present hundreds of product and technology. I also host the show for the final 9 episodes. During this period we’ve added software guides and technology awareness parts to the show which feedback was great. It is the only TV show which brings technology and entertainment together. *Kadir Has University – Annual IT Awards- Best Information Technology related TV Show award. 2007 and 2008

Host – Monitor and Xoom Show at Tech TV (Technology Channel)

Monitor was a technology related TV show. 36 episodes was broadcasted on Turkey’s first technology thematic channel ‘Teknoloji TV’ for 1 year on every Saturday 21:00. IT Business Weekly is the official press sponsor of the show. The show was both focused on consumer electronics and enterprise technology. I was hosting the show and discussing the week’s Information Technology news with Eylem Cülcülo?lu, IT Business Weekly Chief-in-Editor. We’re introducing all the new stuff and explaining them in an understandable way. Once a month we host top level executives from IT sector on the show.
Xoom was a enterprise information technology based weekly discussion program broadcasted on Tech TV with the same period of Monitor. Hosted by Yucel Kamcez, one of the greatest IT gurus’ in Turkey, the program put up top notch executives and doyennes of the IT sector as guests every week. I reviewed enterprise tech products, latest mobiles and the gadgets for the entire lifetime of the show. Both shows were ended due to the economic failure and the closure of Teknoloji TV.

IT Business Magazine was first sold out to DoganBurda Holding and cancelled due to heavy effect of global economic crisis on Jan 09. (I am the first person in Turkey among IT magazines to have an interview with founder and chief executive officer of Dell, Michael Dell)

I was one of the sales people in my first 3 months. After 3 months Ececom Computer had 7 branches as sales office in Istanbul. I was attended to be coordinator of these 7 branch offices to check the sales, report them to my executives and take action if needed. In 2001, devaluation hit the market in general, the branches were shut down because of the crisis effect.
